Healthy Living!

Healthy life keeps you alive!

Everybody likes junk food, sweets, cakes and soft drinks. But it is important not to eat those things too often. It's a good idea to eat sugary products for example once or twice a week. Also remember to eat regularly: eat five or six meals a day, and do not snack all the time, because it is bad for your teeth. A good tip for you is to follow the plate model: fill your plate 1/2 with salad, 1/4 with rice, potatoes, pasta or another food with lots of carbohydrates in it and 1/4 with meat, chicken, fish or another protein-containing food. Don't drink soft or energy drinks every day, instead prefer milk, water or juices (of course not the ones with extra added sugar).

Sports and regular exercise are good for your health, so it is good to have a sporty hobby, but you can also do the exercise of the day just by walking to school/home or walking the stairs instead of taking the elevator. Simple as that!

Sleeping is the nicest thing in the world, so why won't you sleep at least eight, maybe even nine hours in a night? Then you would not be tired during the day, and it also keeps your brain and body sharp.

Smoking, drugs and drinking too much alcohol are of course bad for your health, as we all know. Smoking causes cancer, makes your skin look many years older, your teeth turn yellow and your breath starts to smell. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who holds his breath while walking past a smoking person? Because that smoke just makes you cough and even in the tobacco pack there is a text that says: Smoking kills and it is harmful for you and people around you. It would be better to ban smoking, because there's nothing good about using it.

Alcohol is okay in small doses, but I find it important not to get drunk. Because a drunk person cannot control his doings, and it is very dangerous to for example drive when you're drunk.
But after all, it is everybody's own choice to do or not to do those things.

A human cannot be happy without friends or family. So remember to have loving and supporting people around you! Because for example many mental illnesses can be prevented if the person has caring people around him.

But remember: these things are just recommendations, and if you happen to eat "more sweets that you should" or skip a workout, it won't kill you. Remember to keep living and life normal, don't overachieve and stress too much or get obsession with for example healthy eating. Because nobody wants anorexia or a mental burn out. It is important to find the "happy medium"!

World is full of activities. Even here in Northern Europe it's nowadays possible to have all kinds of sports as hobbies, and many people have acknowledged that. It's trendy to go to the gym or jogging. Fitness people are admired.
Smoking is not so trendy anymore. People have started to understand that it's bad for their health and has many bad side-effects. Your teeth becomes yellow and skin starts to look older. Smoking looks "cool" only when you're on your early twenties. Smoking doesn't only affect your health, but also people around you.
 
Eating healthy is popular. It's not about strict dietary limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it's about having more energy, feeling great and improving your outlook.

Here is a few tips how to live healthy.

Eating
To live healthy you have to eat lots of vegetables, fruits and vitamins. Don´t eat junk food like pizzas and hamburgers. Our bones needs calcium so eat cheese, butter or yogurt, but don´t eat too much butter because it contains fat. You have to get vitamins from food because we need for example d vitamin to help the calcium to absorbed. We also have to get protein from food and you should eat more good fat than bad fat.

Sleeping
To live healthy you also need to sleep. Young peoples need about 8 hours sleep on day. Before you go to sleep you should not play computer games or play with phone. If you have problems get to sleep try reading books before you go to sleep maybe it helps you to get in the sleep.

Exercise
Regular exercise is also good to your health but don´t exercise too much.

Remember to eat healthy, sleep well and do regular exercise to live healthy.

  In a society where there are fast food restaurants and unhealthy consumables everywhere, it is hard to keep healthy. So in this guide, you will learn, how to keep healthy in a nutshell.

  By the trending of the substance called, fast food, our healthy living has been compromised. By 2020 every other american will be obese. There are few simple reasons for this. Not enough exercise, too much time in front of the screen and unhealthy food. Americans eat nearly 50 billion burgers per year. Horrific right?

  So, keep your hands away from fast food. 

  Also, remember to get enough sleep. If you sleep 6 hours a day on average, something has to be done. Teenager should get around eight to nine hours of sleep. When you sleep your muscles and mind gather energy for the upcoming day.

  Have enough exercise! If you have the option to choose from bus or a bike, take the bike. Biking is excellent exercise for your body and mind. Also you can get from place A to place B really fast.

  Also things like cigarettes are a killer for your health. Did you know that if you smoke one pack of cigarettes a day for 50 years, you would have to pay about 90 000 $.

In my opinion it's up o you to live healthy, but here are some tips to healthy living from a gamer that should use thee tips but won't.

1. Some people think that only green and salads are healthy but that is WRONG!!! Actually meat and other protein sources are better than only salads (salads are good to you'r health also but not as good) moving and exercising and eating well is more important than eating sloppily and over exercising  you'r self to near death is not.

2. Most fruits are healthy but contain a lot of sugar witch can be dangerously unhealthy.

3. Trying to get thin is a good goal but having an anorexia can be lethal so eat well and healthy but don't spend too much time in the gym or by the road jogging because you can turn antisocial and being thin or looking after you'r body is mostly about peer pressure or somebody mocking you and you should be proud of you'r body and if that's not the case the just ignore the 50 words above this.

In or out?

What if I'm not gonna write this?

To be honest I do not know about the latest trends or what is out nowadays.
I thought to be wise and google what's in and out (like a journalist). But I didn't find anything (but TOPmodel page...) and I started to get frustrated about the whole thing.



Of course there might be that peer pressure that makes you do things like others (or you want to look like your favourite actress/actor) but my point is that you don't have to follow the 'rules'. Do things on your way and wear clothes you want!
No matter are you boy or girl you're still you and nobody can say how you have to be or look like.



Do you wear clothes like in pictures of this post? Are you after the latest trends?


Ps. If you're drunk don't text because it's totally out but drunk snapchatting, oh that's IN (anyway I hope nobody gets drunk!)

In or out?

Most of the youngsters have so many "rules", for example in music, hobbies, style and other things.

Many girls hobbies is for example gymnastics, football or horse riding but for example martial arts for girls aren't in.

Many boys hobbies is like football or icehockey. Some people don't understand for example horse riding for boys. I don't understand this...

Cool hoodies are in for boys. But for example caps and hairstyle called "pineapple" aren't in.  Or? I am not sure.. :D

In and Out

Nowadays when it comes to clothing, clean and tidy features on clothing are definitely in, when the worn-out jeans as well as black t-shirts and hoodies, having an album cover printed on them, are no doubt of it out. Electronics have also become, during the last couple of years, an essential part of our clothing, as smart phones with a ridiculously large screens are weirdly in, and among older people smart watches are becoming a mainstream item, on the other hand, the good old Nokia 3310 may have some positive retro-feeling to it.
               Many people still enjoy watching ice hockey or football, but as technology has developed, and livestreaming computer games with a commentary has gained popularity, those traditional sport events have received a new competitor from so called e-sport events, where professional gamers smash their keyboard and mouse to take a throphy home. The most titles played in those events include Counter Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, and Heartstone that all share the feature of skill-intensive gameplay.
               The competive gaming has made websites like YouTube and Twitch.tv, where the majority of the gameplay footage is displayed, more popular among younger audience, while Facebook has experienced a loss when people have moved to use communication applications for smart phones, including Snapchat and WhatsApp.
                So all in all, it is now more relevant than ever to keep up with the technologies if you want to be in, but do not forget to refresh your clothing too, as nothing is more terrifying than a person wearing last decade clothing handling the newest iPhone.

In and out - spring 2015

There have always been, there is now and there will always be these kind of 'rules' with style, hobbies, music etc. Especially with teenagers.

There are few styles and things that are kind of expectations among teenager girls. One style is that you have to be skinny, you wear very tight jeans, maybe a croptop shirt or you have expensive brand clothes, classy accessories and jewellerys, perfect hair, make-up, tan, etc. I think this style is like some kind of 'dream', and of course not everybody is really like that, but I would call it as a 'goal'.

And then there is 'fitspo', which means fitness and inspiration. There are some social medias which are full of training quotes, pictures of skinny and trained girls, tips for eating healthy,... the list goes on and on. Every girl wants to be like that, wants to workout and wants to look good, but usually they don't help at all - you just feel so bad about yourself because you're "too lazy".

Sometimes it is better to just relax at home, eat ice cream and watch netflix - and that is our next 'style'. So as I said, sometimes girls prefer just watching netflix and eating some ice cream with messy hair - but the point with this is that you don't wanna look ugly. You still wear make-up, your hair looks good even if it's messy, your clothes are cool even if they are some kind of "homeclothes" - and above all else you can take a picture of your laptop screen and ice cream or maybe something else and post it to social media.

One more style is called "grunge". In grunge you are - or you fake you are - depressed, you wear only black, you like sad and angst quotes and pictures, you listen sad music, you look pale and very thin, your hair is in French or Dutch braid, you have those choker-necklaces, etc.

These are all really expectations, because I've never actually seen anyone who would truly look like one of these styles. And I think most of the people think that we, teenagers, are really judgemental towards each other, and in some points we are, but actually we accept if you want to be different. It is not so serious if you don't look good every day and it's okay if you are your truly self and wear what you want. As John Green said, it is ridiculous to be around someone just because they are pretty. It's like picking your breakfast cereal based on colour instead of taste!

                                                          Teenagers Life In a Nutshell



In 1950´s, the life of teenager was easy. Now 55 years later, things have changed. In 1950´s you could have worn a large colorful jumper made by your grandmother, and get away with it. Now, if you would wear that same jumper on 2015, you would have no hope of being cool, or being popular.
        The way I see it, if you want to be "cool", famous or popular nowadays, you have a few options.

Option 1 step by step.

Step 1. Start smoking
Step 2. lose your natural curly hair and straighten it up.
Step 3. Open a bottle of booze and swallow the fact that you WILL drink it to be cool.
Step 4. Every time you go out, have a cigarette or drink alcohol, make sure everyone knows about it through your updates on social media. For example Snapchat is excellent.
Step 5. Don´t "göröst" meaning don´t care at all about what other people think of you. Wear stupid hats and that kind of stuff. This shows to everyone that you´re above their opinions, making you look cool in their eyes.

(Having a private Instagram account is also a plus)

Option 2 step by step.

Step 1. Start playing sports seriously. And by sports I mean football or ice hockey. Don´t even bother playing badminton or some "lame" sport like that.
Step 2. Get yourself a ripped body.
Step 3. Maybe use snuff.
Step 4. If you are a hockey player start using a cap like this, and stick into your head so hard that people can barley see your eyes. Also if you play hockey grow a long curly hair (A must!).



Step 5. It is a HUGE plus if you play on a national team, because that makes you extremely "maju".


So you now know how to be very famous. You can either follow these rules, or live the life you want, like you should do. Of course if you choose one of these options to be the goal of your life, then go ahead, I don´t judge. But if your wondering about which option to take, go for number 2. Your life expectancy will not be as depressing.

This is not the truth of life and you can either get mad or laugh for the irony represented to you by this text.

All kind trends about hobbies, music styles .hairstyles, clothing are changing every year. I think that peer pressure in those kind of things is very stupid because it is everyone`s own decision that what to wear or do. Music that everyone listens is pop. Singers who are popular among teens are like Ellie Coulding, Mikael Gabriel, etc. goth styles are like goth and heavy are specialty in 2015 year. Girls often use jeggings and squatting is very popular among girls. Nowdays hump working is in. Lads wear hoodies and dress shirts.

In and out

There is many rules on the youngsters in nowdays. This mean example that you can't wear some clothes like shirt where is example Disney Pixar cars because if you wear them it can lead to bullying or if you havent seen some movie it can also lead to bullying. Nowdays many youngsters wears shirt where is only one color or plaid shirts and when they were younger they had shirts where was some kind of pictures.  Even if you haven't seen some movie or tv series it can lead to bullying. I think that many youngsters wants to buy brand clothes which are very expensive. I think that it doesn't matter what is your hobby but maybe I'm wrong. I think that electronic music is very popular on yuongsters.
